Faculty Formation in Classical Christian Education

In communities where classical Christian education is unknown and values are shaped by cultural tides rather than Scripture, how do we prepare new teachers to step into this rich tradition? Drawing from experience as school leaders in ten countries across Africa and in the US, this session shares practical ways to help a faculty flourish as classical Christian teachers.

Benefits & Takeaways

One of the most significant needs in the CCE movement today is the orientation and mentoring of faculty. With the strong growth of CCE in America the need for teachers outpaces the current means of training teachers. We have over 20 years of experience taking teachers with very little background knowledge of the liberal arts and no exposure to engaging teaching methods and developed means to do this during the school week. We also have resources we are happy to share that schools can take and use.
