This talk is very practical in the what, why, and how of training procedures, exploring how teaching and training classroom procedures creates opportunities to train character and virtue. The first days of school are critical for setting the tone for the whole year.
By reminding all of us that classroom order and culture are important as a way of training character. I also seek to be very practical in how to train routines and procedures versus just telling students what is expected.
