Michael Kochie serves as a house governor, Bible lead, and teacher of Bible, Latin, and Logic at Arma Dei Academy in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, where he has worked for seven years. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry from Reformed Theological Seminary with a focus on CCE and the Church.
This workshop provides practical tools to implement immediately to strengthen or launch a house system at your school. Drawing from Arma Dei Academy’s experience, it shares the practices, structures, and tools that have borne fruit — offering a model you can adapt to your own context.
This workshop will benefit members and other conference attendees who are just starting a house system or looking to make adjustments to their own. We have hosted several schools from across the country who see our school as a model, and I always get some time talking about the house system. They are excited to see our physical pieces of culture happy to see that our system takes burdens off of our teachers as well. This would be beneficial to teachers in the house system and to administrators looking to invest in it.
